2G Robotics project manager Hubert Palej recently travelled to the Tuscan island of Giglio where he deployed the ULS-200 Underwater Laser Scanner to provide data needed for the Costa Concordia salvage operation.  The Costa Concordia struck a reef off the coast of the island of Giglio in January 2012.  Since then, a team of companies and professionals such as 2G Robotics of Waterloo, Ontario have been implementing “The Parbuckle Project“.
